Trick or Treat for Business
Last year, Halloween was not much of a festive holiday around my community. This year things look brighter, many did lose their homes to the economy but in the bright side many have benefit by being able to purchase a home in a community they may have no otherwise been able to afford.
In my opinion Las Vegas / Henderson is a good place to find a deal if you can afford to have your property sit there for a while. Anyhow, this is my Trick or Treat business tip: Promote your business this Halloween with special treats for the kids or parents. Here is how….
If you are giving out candy, place a sticker with your Store Name, blog, or website store. Kids love stickers, so aside from just giving out candy; sneak in some nice stickers. Of course not to obvious after all they would be your neighbors kids etc….
Or, donate to your church Harvest Festival, community Halloween event, school etc.. Banners and flyers are fine, but unless you spend some serious money for a eye catching banner its not going to do much.Food, such as baked goods are always a hit. Get to a consumers heart through the tummy.
Thinking of volunteering this time of the year? That is also an opportunity to expose your business. Create some fun and not to obvious T-Shirts for your business. Wear them when out; you never know when the charity you volunteer for might get some Free TV Time.
What are your creative ways to get some traffic?

Buddy you are absolutely correct. A study shows that festival promotion has given the maximum ROI when compared to others. I feel that this year the promotions are on a higher end like never before. Thanks that home sales went up and people can afford in locales where they always thought it would be a dream to have a home there. I am also planning to do some volunteering this year. Not for the business purpose alone, but still I would vividly seek chances for sealing the deal.
This rule is applicable even for some major events like the Olympics or world cup tournaments. There is a world cup rugby tournament happening in 2011 at NZ, but competitions have skyrocketed already and people are fighting out for space both on earth as well as web.
info is very awesome !! i love your mini application which can be used with “Trick or Treat for Business”.
I love that picture. I did a post last year for Halloween and used it myself. Sad but true, unfortunately. There are still a lot of foreclosed properties in Las Vegas.
Promoting business through T-shirt can be fun and interesting too. It’s time to get Screen printed on my best T-shirt.
Its a great thought,
Halloween is very great i just love the Halloween
Thanks for the resource.
Really like your website, thanks for the useful info , I will be coming back soon!
Good idea. You don’t have to target the kids as well. You can use your business to do a special Trick or Treat for Adults as well, which may be a lot more appropriate than marketing sweets for kids!
