I’ll tell you two things I don’t like about stootsi. One being that they hold your money for 14 days. And two being that you can’t leave feedback for the buyer. To me, it’s a total big no-no. Feedback cannot be a one way street.
I would not sell on stootsi because of these things.
I tried to sell with stoosi some of mine handmade items, and with no feedback I was tired to talk with customers about everything I did in the past and had to give my feedback’s from ebay. I was selling there for a month – after that I forgot about stoosi.
I am working and selling on stoosi for about 1.5 years, and i’m very glad with it, no fraud no scams, costumers are very friendly no cheap talking – just business!
I have just reviewed Stootsi site and has a very nice feel. Good promotional products and should do well in the market place.

Stootsi is off, there’s no secret why, when there is a existing shop like ebay or amazon there’s no point to create a new one because this niche is occupied
I’m really sad to see that Stootsi has closed their virtual doors. I used to like shopping at this site because it was easy and a great mix between eBay and amazon. I’m not sure why they did this, but I’m sure many people are going to miss them. I guess some companies just cannot compete with the “big boys”…..unfortunately.
How big is the site? I mean is it a safe site to use, is it legitimate? For the time being i may still use eBay until sure otherwise. Also are payments made via Paypal?
There is an established ebay alternative it is Ealtbay. Ealtbay lets you list for free, has very low final value fees, and take payments in any legal form, not just Paypal or credit cards. It also allows you to list perfectly legal items that are banned from eBay. Give Ealtbay a try.
