I am guessing that Wal*Mart sent out my invitation and it was lost in cyber world. No problem, there are so many marketplaces to sell at and many more than willing to take our money.
Aside from Amazon and eBay to generate large amounts of traffic to you through their Name and Advertising; you can also can do well by offering your items at Buy.com. It has now been three months I have been selling on Buy.com Marketplace and I must say so far it has been a great source. Buy.com has very good search engine traffic and the competition is only a fraction of what you would find on eBay and Amazon.
Buy.com charges no monthly fee, no listing fees and process payment directly. Once orders are shipped your are paid the following Tuesday. The only fees you are charged for are once an item sells. The category I sell in is Home & Garden which is subject to a 15% fee from the sale price and a $.99 commission.
Buy.com does screen sellers. I was turned down when I submitted a sight that I just had started but was accepted for the other site I have had for about two years now. They want sellers to demonstrate experience and excellent customer service. Its worth giving it a try. Seriously, what’s the worst they can say…”No”… at least they will know you are out there. With no up front fees you should consider Buy.com. (Does take time lots of it to load your items or you can submit it to them per their specs)
Here is the fee structure:

Buy.com wants you……………..
- Gain access to a new market of highly desirable buyers.
- Grow incremental sales.
- List and manage your inventory with industry standard tools.
- Partner with a proven and stable e-Commerce veteran.
- Display your brand throughout the purchasing process.
- Earn the Buy Box.
- Produce your own BuyTV Product Reviews and Product Spotlights.
- Participate in on-site merchandising opportunities.
Whatever success path you chose you will succeed.

Interesant articol. Am citit si celelalte si mi se par interesante.
When I first started selling online, eBay was the only real game in town. A few years ago, I was contacted by Amazon and asked to sell on their site. I’ve seen my Amazon sales increase dramatically and eBay fall to nothing. Last Christmas season, I sold $70,000 on Amazon in the month of December. By comparison, eBay did around $10,000.
I’ve never tried Buy.com but it looks like I should give them a try.

Wow, Buy.com sounds like a great site in comparison to some of the others floating around at the moment. The commission rates look reasonable too. I’ll have to give it a go.
From my experience, buy.com can produce large amount of sales (not greater than amazon, obviously).
Interesting indeed. The fee structure is somewhat good compared to other sites I believe. Thanks a bunch for the information. Cheers
I have started selling on ebay and Amazon lately and although the fees are higher, I prefer Amazon, it’s more professional and easier to sell. People seem more trusting on Amazon too, so they’re quicker to part with their cash. Never tried buy.com but will try that too, as I want to try as many selling sites as possible.

Hm! Very good. The competition is getting serious for on line auctions. This is positive as there was a sense for a long period that E Bay had the market sown up. Again, very good marketing and branding by E Bay.
Interesting web site. This will help me sell my product and invest money online.

i was selling goods with amazing.com. but when compared to it, the commissions laid on Buy.com are very reasonable. i would recommend this to my friend.
Blog.com is doing a great job. it is a perfect market place to gain more profit. could you suggest me any other online market with less commissions.
I’ve always used Ebay, but I’ll try out Buy.com since there is less competition
I got a good conversion rate with amazing.com, but the commissionis about 4%. I will try Buy.com.
It might be a bit risky to get income from High Yeild Investment programs but I say, invest only as much as you don’t care if you loose.
Hey, Good blog m8! I am looking for things to read about gaming. Can you tell me about some good books or even articles about gaming? Great, thanks…
Most of the major social networks now also include buy and sell options. This would be another approach to establishing relationship through social media.

My top 3, in descending order, is 1) Amazon 2) eBay and 3) Buy.com. They’re all good and each has their own advantages and disadvantages, but in the end, it all comes down to familiarity for me: I’ve just been using Amazon for the longest time and I know what to expect. Buy.com is a bit newer!
Interesting! This is my favorite post about Sell on Buy.com | Make Money Online eCommerce Blogging Auctions ….
Yes I agree,
Buy.com is certainly a great resource. It doesn’t get as much traffic as the giants eBay or Amazon does. But, still it has decent traffic rankings and all in all a good site to buy from.
That’s a great article about Sell on Buy.com. Is that detail of commission which you have presented in graph is ok? I want to start online selling but I am not sure about commission. Voucher codes
I’d be interested to look into how Buy.com handles vintage items. Does anyone know if they do could someone leave a link to some of the listings.
Thanks for the post!

Looks like a nice site to me. How does it deal with Ruby Rings?
Buy.com actually looks like a pretty good site, it scares me how much they must have paid for that domain name though!
Bingo! Move on! I was speechless after I read your post. I never imagined about a site, that could vie the reputed shopping sites such as Amazon and eBay. But thank god, Buy.com is gonna rock the online shopping world thereby bidding other shopping sites. Hope that, we could sell or buy products in a cheap and better way in this site. Thanks for your enlightenment!
