So young and brave. For anyone that had a loved one pass on from battling cancer then you know that they are in a better place. Patrick Swayze was huge when I was in Jr. High School. OMG! I can remember how my girlfriends and I would torture our boyfriends trying to get them to dance like Patrick Swayze. Of course let’s not forget Ghost.
Patrick Swayze seemed to have enjoyed his life, short but he lived it the way he wanted too. Here is a clip of the song from Dirty Dancing “I Had The Time of My Life”…. and thanks to what a great actor he was; I certainly had fun with this piece.

So very sad. I enjoyed practically all his movies. Just thinking about ‘Ghost’ makes me cry. Not only was he a great actor but he could sing, dance…and was devoted to his wife of many many years. I certainly will miss him.
yea…..its sad…..but i admire him for his two years of fight against the cancer…….but he lost it at the end……

@Roschelle – He was. I could not believe it when I heard him sing for the first time. It was a nice surprise.
He really struggled for a long time with his illness. He will be missed.
@hitesh – You are right, he was a fighter and did not give in.. He fought to the end; he was a brave soul. He did live longer than most people fighting the diseases. His passion was life

I loved all his movies and felt so sad last night when I read he was gone. He was very talented. I loved him in Dirty Dancing, in Ghost, Red Dawn, The North and South, and more. I will miss him and send my condolences to all his friends, fans, and family.
