MM – “Can you Feel the Love Tonight” Elton John Music & Video

Submitted by whateverebay on November 3, 2009 – 4:45 am2 Comments

Music Monday pick today is Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” …….. may he be strong and have a speedy recovery…. This is one of the song’s my son would fall asleep to. Wonderful memories… :)

Lyircs:

There’s a calm surrender
To the rush of day
When the heat of the rolling world
Can be turned away
An enchanted moment
And it sees me through
It’s enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you

(Chorus)
And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It’s enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it’s laid to rest?
It’s enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

There’s a time for everyone
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope
Moves us all in turn
There’s a rhyme and reason
To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager
Beats in time with yours

(Chorus)
And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It’s enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it’s laid to rest?
It’s enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

It’s enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

  • keith from Hindi Song Lyrics says:

I really love the song “Can You Feel the Love tonight” by Elton John. This song is one of the soundtrack of Lion King which is one of my favorite movies from walt disney. The song was very beautiful, the lyrics and the melody so no wonder why many people like us loves this song.
