Make Money Blogs or Vlogs Part 5. Its been a while since I posted Part 4. In reality blogging, maintaining a webstore along with my two kids being schooled at home have me running around 24/7. I must say that due to the success that I have experienced with several of my blogs, I have decided that at this summer I will be placing my online store on hold. I will blog on my current webstore and perhaps link to other sellers while I dedicate to blogging only.
I am not one to get those YouTube videos of myself reviewing or commenting; I am usually up with icky hair or just look like I need rest; so no way. I do make videos to promote my items, however, my kids being kids not only blog but are having fun posting video reviews. My son likes it a lot more (he is the shy one)…..
Perhaps by now you are aware of the possibilities in revenue and where the exposure on YouTube can lead you. When you meet certain criteria YouTube will invite you to become a partner. Basically this means that you will make some really nice money if you are generating a lot of views.
Here is a video and report GMA did on Vlogging and the ridiculous (good) way even teens are generating money. Its not just money, its Free products for review, the ability to brand yourself and perhaps becoming a Celebrity (iJustine, Fred etc….)

A new phenomenon called “haul videos” means they can show off their purchases to the whole world. There are more than 110,000 haul videos currently on YouTube, and some videos are racking up tens of millions of views.
Hauls are short product review videos. The “vlogger,” or video blogger, shows off her goods, gushing about everything from lip gloss to flip-flops and gives her opinion on the quality of the products.

I’ve seen a few of these vloggers or make up tutorials and not all of them are pleasant to watch. It takes a certain kind of talent and person to succed at this, for ex. Lauren Luke, she is not perfect but there is something very attractive and attention grabbing about her.
Thanks for sharing the GMA report with us. I had no idea Vlogging even existed, what a way to make some extra cash. I know the internet offers endless opportunities for income. It’s great when a young parent can be home raise their children and if time allows they can slip away into their office and run a business right from their computer.

It can take some time to before you make much money vlogging -but as your traffic and tactics improve, so will your earnings. Analyze the performance of your site and video and adjust your strategy if necessary to further improve upon it’s earning potential. Good luck!

It sounds harsh and they’re probably not doing it consciously but both blog readers and other bloggers are on the look out for blogs that are going to stand the test of time and will still be around in years to come.
Wow! The Vlogging thing sounds really cool. I like the fact that now even fame is on offer! Yes, videos generating millions of views definitely make one famous. The fact that money making methods are changing so much certainly hints a changing economy.

It’s very hard making money off of a blog if it isn’t focused on something.
A-list bloggers dominate their niche. They decide on the focus of their blog and stick to it so there can be no confusion. When a new reader gets to their blog they learn immediately what it’s about and there’s a sizeable archive of blog posts focused around that topic to back it up.
