Leona Lewis & Social Networks Increase Sales
For the last year I have been following the online Success of “Lauren” aka “Panacea81” .
Lauren is a single mother, resides in London and has used YouTube and other Social Networks to promote her eBay store. Up until a month ago, Lauren’s eBay store could be found at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pancosmetics
On July 22nd, 2007, Lauren aired her first YouTube Make-Up tutorial. Her mission was to generate direct sales to her eBay store by showing the use of her products. This did well for her, but it was not until she aired a tutorial on Leona Lewis look. There is no doubt that airing the look of Leona Lewis was the best move she could had made. Leone Lewis had found much success with her hit “Bleeding Love”.
Soon after she aired the tutorial on YouTube she got noticed from all medias, and calling her was the BBC. Oh yeah! The BBC is very much interested in her. Lauren landed several deals and is currently working on other Projects with the BBC and another station in New York. Lauren has not released too many details, she keeps the suspense.
Recently, her eBay store was closed. Not sure if its due to eBay Policies or if simply she was too busy to keep running the online business. I have emailed her and when she response, I will post it.
Regardless, her story can serve as HOPE. If you are not generating enough traffic listing Ads or selling on Major Search engines, then, let the power of Social Networks work for you. Its all in your hands. Most cell phones have cameras, take pic and create a video. If you have a camera then just do it. Check my next post on the site to upload your videos, besides YouTube.
