Safety First and planning ahead helps. Raised in California, it was always encouraged that you have an Earthquake Kit, water or at the minimum a First Aid Kit. With the recent news of the Swine Flu making in to the States I want to share with you some links.
The Swine Flu is a nastier flu. To avoid being infecte
d practice good hygiene. Wash your hands, do not touch your face after touching any surface outside your home. You can carry sanitary wipes or Purell for your hands. It’s a good time to sit with your kids or class and remind them the importance of washing their hands before touching their food or face. Remind them to Sneeze away from people and carry tissue in their pockets.
For all business owners, if you hold weekly (OSHA Meetings) Tailgate Meetings use some of the material found at the OSHA.gov site or your State OSHA site in regards to “Preparedness to an Influenza Pandemic”. If you do not hold Tailgate meetings posting an Announcement as a reminder in your Employee lounge of ”Common Courtesy” would be a good idea.
BTW – OSHA and CDC offer outlines on what essentails should be in your Frist Aid Kits.

H1N1 or Swine Flu is a bit scary but it a good thing to note that this virus is not that very deadly.,, .
Depression boy must have spoke a little early the H1N1 is starting to kill about 20 kids a week. For a good hand sanitizer try GermX it is alcohol free. I could have received my vaccine for H1N1 but opted to let someone else who needed it worse to have it.
if your system is strong than you should not worry about Swine flue.you can easily handle this disease because this virus is not that very deadly.
Great article – great information. I was reading about some other great tips for avoiding the H1N1 swine flu. Like be sure to gargle with either salt water or mouthwash a couple times a day. Apparently it takes 2-3 days for the flu to manifest once exposed. Also be sure to take vitamin c and vitamin D to boost your immunity.

i think that in asian countries the Swine Flu did not spread rapidly compared to those countries that are located in colder climates. we should still be very thankful that the swine flu did not cause massive infections.

i think the impact of swine flu goes down day by day since people are now much concern about there health rather than other things and seriously follow such type of tips which may great achievement over swine flu and according to the fact precaution is always better than cure.

I ended up with swine flu despite constant hand sanitizer use and hand washing…. it was horrible, but went away in about a week.
I am so glad that finally swine flu disappeared, although we don’t know if it will strike again and when.

The H1N1 virus is not as powerful as a simple flu, every year thousands of people die from flu, authorities just wanted to focus our minds on something else except the crisis.
