Celebrity Twitter Humor

Submitted by whateverebay on May 11, 2009 – 9:38 am37 Comments

Ashton Kutcher beat Larry King on number of Twitter followers. This video demonstrates the madness around Celebrities and Twitter. I like that even Fonzie made it. What celebrities do you follow? What celebrity do you think has really made use of the Social Media to help their career?

twitter is on the right path when it comes to offering targeted advertising – with the amount of information that they have with respect to demographics and interests, you would think that they would/should be able a more targeted advertising solution i think that getting updated on all of the social networking mediums is a great way to get your name out there, twitter is blowing up and i think its a great way to get noticed.

  • William from Double glazing Surrey says:

Twitter I find very difficult to you, I set up an account once and got slagged off by the people / members on there it was most distressing for one like me !

  • That video is pretty funny, and quite true. It’s amazing how many people are on twitter and how strong of a advertising mogel it has become.

  • jinnie from Custom Rugs says:

I think social networking has been a very short time frame revolution and has provided a great way of marketing and networking without the cost. Twitter has allowed small businesses to really build a presence and brand online.

I following Bollywood actors, but not sure if it is them twittering, could be their agent, lol.

  • James from Weird Celeb Diets says:

Twitter is an excellent way for not only celebs but also regular people and businesses alike to get their product out there. I actually follow Kim Kardashian and she makes very good use of Twitter, always promoting her weight loss products and things of that sort, so I guess she’s slowly trying to build her empire through Twitter..even if u can call that an empire lol

  • renan from wallpapers for iphone says:

  • Emma from Queen Halloween Costume says:

A lot of sports personalities in New Zealand are going crazy with Twitter at the moment – Im sure they have no where near the number of followers as big guns like Larry King and Ashton Kutcher but its still funny to see how they have these kinds of competitions amongst themselves! I wonder how many people actually read the tweets?!

  • You have so many fantastic ideas, but I have a question – do they work in practice? You know, “An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.”

  • Jay says:

I think Ashton Kutcher has not so many good movies as so many followers on twitter, or maybe, there is no direct connection between it.

  • Gloria says:

Like Ashton as one of the best actors and don’t think twitter page do much favor for his popularity.

  • Chelsea says:

Sure that his last movie isn’t his “best”, but I see on his twitter page there are so many good words to him. I think it’s not the reality.

  • Lynn says:

“Killers” with Kutcher has very low imdb rating, but his fans on twitter page appraise it so high. And I don’t know what to think, helps him twitter page or not.

  • Louise from Hannah Brandwood says:

    hi
How will i know im following the original celebrity on Twitter or Facebook ?
    Louise

  • Angela from Website bouwen Breda says:

Nice post and I love the video! Personally I can’t wait for Angelina Jolie to start using her Twitter account. I know she already got one setup and I’d love to follow her. Besides her, I’m a big fan of Conan o’Brien’s Twitter account as well. His humor translates well to the small computer screen. It’s always fun to read.

  • Hope it’ll improve his skills as the actor, but not will be the cause of a “star disease”.

  • stacie from Golf Holidays in Spain says:

I don’t follow any of them. I do read some of the celeb news pages from time to time but I’m not that interested in what they have to say or the mundane things they’re getting up to. I can see why some people follow them but I would only do so if I felt one of them had something decent to say.

  • Sometimes Celebrity twitter accounts was made by their fans only, and some of them are destroying the career and the life of the celebrity. Anyway, following a celebrity is a big opportunity.

  • Cressanta from bo peep costume says:

This is a good idea. I can now follow my favorite stars in Twitter. Really like this information. Many thanks for sharing this stuff.

  • John from sql dba says:

Lol….Im just getting onto the Twitter bandwagon (yeah I know, Im a bit late to the party) and Im finding it hilarious how these celebs seem to use it as just yet another way to stroke their egos, as if they cant ever get enough.

Have to admit to logging on and following Fonzie after reading this though….lol.

  • Twitter is a great way to follow celebs. My favorite is Jennifer Garner!
