Save and Make Money with Big Crumbs

Big Crumbs offers you a way to save money from stores you already shop even from your own eBay store. What makes Big Crumbs more interesting is the option to make money online through referrals purchases and your own purchases.

It is very easy to sign up for an account. Open an account as a Shopper or an Earner. If you are not sure what account would be best for you, simply set up a Shopper Account ; you can later upgrade to an Earner account. The Shopper account does offer you are larger discount for purchases.

My Referral code is: XtraSavings

Payments to you are only made using Paypal. They currently do not offer any other option. They also charge you a payment processing for of 2% or the maximum of $1.00. Below is a copy of Line 6 and 7 from their Terms of Service. Also, if you are successful to generate a $10,001 or more a month, it will be paid out to you in several payments; due to the limits allowed to pay out. See Below

You can add your eBay store to Big Crumbs and drive traffic, cross promote items, make money promoting other sellers’ items (if you find that you are promoting more eBay sellers, a good option for you would be to open an eBay Affiliate account – I will post about this later this week)

Make Money Online Selling Grocery Coupons

If you like to clip coupons and do not get to use them; then this is for you. I like to clip coupons but I always forget to take them with when grocery shopping. Today, I noticed on eBay Coupons and Grocery Coupons to be two popular search terms of the day.

As you can see from the image below Coupons are being offered in bulks of 100 and up. Just another way to make money online. Most of my coupons have expired by now, but this is a great way to make money and pay for your newspaper delivery fees. Before tossing away those Grocery Coupons, you may want to consider selling them, perhaps even donating them to your local church or friends.

Interesting enough, finding these listings on eBay got me to think about all the creative ways people are making money online and are saving money.

What clever ways are you making money online? Do you have money savings tips to share with us?

Bonanzle Takes First place as eBay Alternative

Bonanzle Takes First place as eBay Alternative named by Small Business Computing and in Second place eCrater.

Now, I list on both sites and continue to recommend both. I am not surprised that Bonanzle took first place. As Bonanzle is easier to list in. Say you have 50 items on eBay or more and you want to offer the same items on your Bonanzle store. This could take you a few hours (even more if you have a larger inventory) Bonanzle can transfer this information for you. All you need to do is allow them into your eBay account (all information is secure; I highly recommend that you change your password) and they will transfer this information.

This is greatly appreciated, as you know that listing items is time consuming.

Both sites are user friendly, but the listing tool and feeback can be great motivators. However, I generate more sales using eCrater than I do with Bonanzle. This could be due to the items I offer. eCrater has been around longer and I have built trust in the community. Whereas with Bonanzle I just opened the account. I get leads from them but no sales yet.

I have set up on both sites recently stores using “Whateverebay” user ID. I opened these to offer you as examples and will be stocking them soon. Once I do, I will let you know and we can watch if I sell or don’t.

Both sites charge you no listing fees! You know that in real estate it’s all about Location, Location, Location…. Well, I am all for Exposure, Exposure, Exposure… Of course FREE helps. Get your brand out there for all to see. I understand you want to generate SALES; one way is to have people see you in various sites offering your products. Eventually, they will buy from you and you will grow as the Market picks up.

Did you know that President Barack Obama uses Volusion ? Check out the article HERE for details.

Are you using Bonanzle or eCRater? What do you think about the services they offer? Does it meet your expectations?

Shop or Sell at Godaddy Marketplace

Last week GoDaddy announced the opening of their online Marketplace. That’s right, you can now sell on shop for goods at Godaddy . I emailed them for additional information and they responded in less than 24 hours. That was a great start.

The following is their response to my questions:

Q: Whateverebay: “Payment methods accepted?”

A: GoDaddy: The same payment methods that can be used with GoDaddy.com can be used through this storefront.
We currently accept four forms of payment. They are as follows:
• Credit Card
• Online Check (U.S. banks only)
• GoodAsGold (You can add funds to your GoodAsGold account by check, Money orders or wire transfers)
• PayPal* (Online Payment)

Unfortunately, we do not accept this form of payment:

• Cash
The majority of our customers use credit cards to pay for their services. Paying by credit card streamlines our billing process and helps us keep our prices the lowest you’ll find. And it is particularly useful in making sure your valued domain names don’t expire: Just select the “auto-renew” option and we’ll renew your domain name for you.

We accept these major credit cards:
• Visa
• MasterCard
• American Express
• Discover

We also allow for payment by Personal or Business Check drawn off of a U.S. bank account.
In order to use a check for a purchase on our site, you would need the following information:
1. Bank Routing Number
2. Checking Account Number

If your checking account is a Business Account, you would also need to input the name of the company when filling in the check information. If the checking account is a Personal Account, then your Driver’s License Number, Issuing State, and your Date of Birth would be required.

We also offer our GoodAsGold payment option. Here’s how it works:

1. Set up your GoodAsGold plan.
2. Download complete, easy to understand instructions on how to do a wire transfer.
3. Wire transfer and stock your GoodAsGold plan with cash to spend, $100 is the minimum.
4. We email you confirmation that your GoodAsGold plan is set.

We now accept payments via PayPal*. PayPal is one of the safest, most widely accepted ways to pay for your purchases on the Internet. It lets you use funds from either your bank account or credit card; and you can use it with confidence: Your transactions are protected by PayPal’s sophisticated fraud prevention system.

All you need is a PayPal account to get started. It’s fast and easy to set up; in fact, you can do it while you complete your purchase.
• In the shopping cart under “Select Payment Method,” choose “PayPal Account”.
• Click “Checkout.”
• Click “Go To PayPal” to log in to your existing account or to create a new one.
• Verify the merchant from whom you are purchasing from.
• Accept the merchant agreement.
• When you receive your transaction ID number, click “Back to Merchant” to return to our site and finishing checking out.

*We will only accept PayPal accounts that are backed by a Credit Card.

We do not accept the following:
• PayPal account only backed by check.
• PayPal account backed by a non-verified bank account.
• PayPal account backed by a VERIFIED bank account.
• PayPal account backed by PayPal version of funds on hand.

PayPal will not let you select an account the does not meet our criteria. PayPal will prompt you for a credit card number if your PayPal account does not have one applied.

Q: Whateverebay: Can the merchant use their own checkout?

A: GoDaddy: You must use our checkout for this storefront

Q: Whateverebay: How can they promote their store? Badges, widgets, Google?

A: GoDaddy: Currently, you cannot integrate other advertising products into this application.  We will market the site in general as the Go Daddy Marketplace, but you will should still do your own targeted advertising to draw people to your store.

Q: Whateverebay: Can we also promote our own website on your site?

A: GoDaddy: Advertising will not cross to GoDaddy.com, only promotions for the Marketplace as a whole.

The above answer is vague. I was able to confirm that you are allowed to promote your site. You can include links to your website.

Go Daddy $7.49 .com sale 200x200

What does this cost you?

There is a monthly membership fee of $4.99 p/m and a 10% Sale Fee. You must also be aware in the event you have a chargeback there is a flat fee of

You can use GoDaddy buttons or banners to promote your Store on your blog etc….

Take a look at the fine print:

“10% commission fee applied to all sales. A credit card is required to open a Go Daddy Marketplace account. Vendors issuing refunds will receive a return of 70% of the original commission charged; orders with credit card chargebacks are subject to a $25 fee and will result in no return of original commission.

A $25.00 fee in the event of a chargeback is usually what would pay your Merchant Account. This varies on the length and type of relationship you have with your bank.

As you have already noticed; many of the online service providers are now opening their own Marketplace. With the changes eBay has made and the cry for help from sellers many new Marketplaces are opening up. I agree eBay must make changes; yet, the timing could not be worst.

New marketplaces are opening up everywhere and you as a seller now have plenty of options and payment service options. The days where eBay reigned are numbered. Can eBay recover? Sure… Why would you wait? You need to make money now. Driving traffic to your own website is critical to your success.

Many of you already use GoDaddy services and might feel comfortable managing all your online needs in one place. I think that you should never limit yourself. I have several projects on right now. Opening a store at GoDaddy will help me to continue to brand my online store. Take a look at the categories, right now would be a great time to get in and dominate them.

Would you consider selling at GoDaddy? How is your current traffic at eBay? Are you finding success in another marketplace that you did not think would do so well for you?

Make Money online selling your designs or offering other seller’s items on your blog or website.

Zazzle is one of the site offering you a free and easy solution for you to brand yourself or be creative. With no upfront fees and no membership fees and no inventory.

They have a easy to use program for your to upload your work allowing you to design products including t-shirts, stamps, posters, mugs, business cards, shows, skateboards, pins and much more.

The process is simple. Decide what you want products you want to create or sell. Then create your galley and promote your products.

There are other sites offering similar services. I personally like Zazzle but will also offer you a list of other sites you can consider.

You get to name your Royalty – Zazzle

How does Name Your Royalty work?

Every product on Zazzle starts with a standard price. For example:

  • Basic White T-shirt: $15.95

  • Ladies’ baby doll (fitted) T-shirt: $16.95
  • 16″x20″ poster: $19.95

“Each of these products (in fact, every product sold on Zazzle) includes a 10% royalty that will be paid to the product’s creator. Take a Basic White T-shirt for example. When a customer buys one of your designs for $15.95 you will earn $1.59 (Zazzle’s cost is $14.36).”

……………………………………..

Make money referring sales!

Now, 15% for your referred sales!

“Instead of the old 7% rate, Zazzle now pays you a 15% referral fee for each sale that you refer to Zazzle from your site, your blog, email, or any offline marketing. You can refer a sale to your own products or others. The more you sell, the more you make with the referral volume bonuses. “

Make Money online with Lulu

Another option you may want to consider is LuLu. LuLu has been around for as long as I can remember. I created an account with them many years ago, but did not publish anything. This is before I had kids. My kids are my muse.

They offer you many options to publish and promote your media.

At Blurb you can publish that Book that has been on your mind. Over at Lulu you can publish that book, calendar, Music and much more…..

About LuLu:

…………….To be clear, Lulu is not a publisher. It’s a digital marketplace guided by a vision of empowerment and accessibility, and built on a business model that has proven wildly successful. The rapid growth of Lulu, which is being driven by over 15,000 new registrations a week and more than 100, 000 unique visitors everyday, is built on its proven ability to grab hold of the long tail of user-generated content and provide an empowering outlet for creators of all types.

Lulu eliminates traditional entry barriers to publishing, and enables content creators and owners – authors and educators, videographers and musicians, businesses and nonprofits, professionals and amateurs – to bring their work directly to their audience. First, they use Lulu’s tools to format their digital content. Then they take advantage of Lulu’s dedicated marketplace, custom storefronts and advanced listing and distribution services to make their books, videos, CDs, DVDs, calendars, reports and more available to as many, or as few, people around the world as they like, earning 80% of all creator revenue, of which millions of dollars has already been paid out…………

Click here to read more on LuLu

There are many others including Amazon that can help you publish your works. I will be posting more details later on those.

The options are endless on what you can possibly do from home, part time or full time. If you can envision it, you can create it.  :)

Make Money Online with Twitter

For all you using Twitter there is a really cool way for you to make some extra cash. It is called Twittad, you can sign up for as a User (to get paid for ads on your Twitter Account) or as an Advertiser (you get to run ads on others Twitter accounts).

User:
-Post your Twitter account for Advertisers to purchase
-You set how long you will run the Ad for and How much
-Wait for advertiser to purchase
-You have 48 hours to Accept or Deny offer
-If you accept the as; you will have to upload it to your Twitter profile

This is what my Twitter account looked liked while I was running an ad for Twittad.

For the Q&A on Twittad go here

Now, the only thing so far I do not like about this; is that payments are only sent to you through PayPal. Payments are made after you have reached $30.00 in your account.

This has plenty of potential. For all you Twitters out there what is better than making money while Socializing?

If you offer a service or sell online; you may want to look into Advertising on some of the most popular Twitter profiles. Keep in mind, to run a successful campaign on twitter the Profile does not need to be the most expensive or popular. Searching for a Twitter with 100 to 300 followers is great, as long as the Twitter user is actively sending out twits! Makes no sense to place an Ad with someone with 5,000 followers and does not participate much on Twitter.
