Bonanzle works closely with Google to be compliant

Bonanzle posted today on their blog to be working on Google Base Update closely. This is not going to be done in a 1-2-3 but they are certainly doing their best to make sure all is in order to continue to get traffic to your postings.

Bonanzle stated:

“We are striving to be a model Google citizen, so the less feeds that violate Google Program Policies, the better.

Here are some of the rules you’ll need to keep in mind to have your items get submitted to Google:

  • Item must have a category, and that category must not be vehicles, powersports, or other car-related categories (those belong in a different type of feed, which we aren’t generating)
  • Item can not be mod chips for games, or other prohibited items as outlined in their program policies
  • Item title/description can not contain any foul language
  • Item must have shipping setup within the US (“See description” is OK, but I believe Google will rank you higher if you specify a shipping cost)
  • Item can not be free
  • If multiple items are the same except for size, only one item will be submitted

You can help yourself and Bonanzle by checking all your listings are compliant for details you can visit Google Base Program Policies

Google Marketplace Changes to take effect on December 1st, 2009. Google announced New Policies for Marketplaces & Aggregators on Google Product Search.  Google will introduce multi-client accounts to help marketplaces manage (control) feeds for multiple sellers under a single account.

….The multi-client accounts allow aggregators and marketplaces to consolidate and manage data feeds and reporting for sub-accounts, submit changes more rapidly, and get more accurate Google Checkout badging at the seller level……..individual sellers on marketplaces no longer need to submit a feed to Google Product Search. To avoid duplicate listings we will be notifying individual sellers and retiring their accounts.
