Beso.com Announces Affiliate Program for Content Publishers: From Mega-Sites to Independent Bloggers and Shopping Influencers

Beso.com, the third largest fashion and style website, announced today the launch of its pay-per-click affiliate program, the Beso Affiliate Program.

The Beso Affiliate Program is designed for shopping based content, the focus of many lifestyle and fashion content creators—both big and small—as a way to monetize their retail and shopping related content.  Big, multi-channel sites, independent bloggers and vloggers, and even influencers whose sole platform is a social media network are eligible to participate. The program enables users to generate referral revenue on a pay-per-click basis, as opposed to a percentage of sales.

With this program, content creators have access to millions of products, spanning thousands of retailers via its user friendly affiliate portal.  Affiliates simply search for the products that they want to promote and Beso retrieves content based on its editorially influenced algorithm; allowing the user to grab the link or code and embed it.

David Weinrot, SVP, Operations & Business Development for Shopzilla, Inc., which operates Beso, explains: “We’ve designed an affiliate program that meets the needs of the vast spectrum of content creators on the web.  You don’t need to be particularly technically savvy to use the program.  It’s easy to get links and is based on a straightforward revenue-generating model.  Publishers get paid on clicks, which can quickly translate into real money.”

Leading lifestyle blogger, Joanna Goddard of A Cup of Jo, was an early adopter of Beso’s program. “The Beso Affiliate Program is an incredible tool for all my shopping posts.  Not only is it easy for me to use, but it’s a great way to show my readers all the stores that carry each item (and where they can find the best price!). The program also helps me learn which products my readers respond to, and which they just don’t.  Plus, the team is always there to answer all of my questions and streamline the process.”

The Beso Affiliate program enables bloggers such as Joanna Goddard to monetize their blog without compromising its integrity.  Many bloggers are interested in making money from their blog, but are not currently doing so.  According to Technorati’s State of the Blogosphere 2011 survey, only 14% of bloggers earn a salary for blogging.  That leaves display ads, affiliate marketing links, and search ads as the most common way bloggers generate revenue from their blogs.  For those that do not have advertising on their blogs, 52% say they don’t want their blogs to be cluttered with ads.  Beso’s Affiliate Program is designed to meet the needs of all fashion and lifestyle content creators by allowing bloggers to monetize what keeps their readers loyal — the content, not the ads.

Beyond A Cup of Jo, numerous others are currently using the program, including Cupcakes and Cashmere, Oh Joy!, and Day in the Life of Sccastaneda. “We’ve learned a lot from working through the process with these sites,” Weinrot adds. “We’re excited to make it more widely available to publishers and influencers.”

Black Halo Announces New Affiliate Program

Black Halo, the cutting edge fashion label, announced today it has launched its affiliate marketing program. This announcement gives fashion lovers around the world a chance to market and profit on Black Halo’s sultry yet sophisticated dresses, skirts and blouses.

True to its name, Black Halo finds inspiration in the beauty of contradiction. From structured pencil dresses that read more vamp than traditional, to modern draping with Madam Gres roots, designer Laurel Berman fuses rebel with romance to create a collection at once both edgy and feminine.

Black Halo’s core aesthetic stems from simple principles of construction and form. Laurel Berman, who has elevated the brand to a level in contemporary fashion that can be considered iconic, finds inspiration in textiles, a cut or draping often influenced by the feel of the fabric. Her careful silhouettes reference the intricacies of couture tailoring traditions. The result is a look of glamour without pretense, which has made the collection a long-standing favorite among celebrities, including Heidi Klum, Blake Lively, Fergie, Lady Gaga, Rachel Evan Wood and Eva Mendes.

Black Halo is designed to summon natural inner beauty and confidence that is both liberating and empowering to women when worn. Partnering with Commission Junction, Black Halo is confident the pieces are in place for a mutually successful campaign.

“We are very happy to be working with Commission Junction, who has been in operation since 1998,” a spokesperson for the brand stated. “Its combination of experience in affiliate marketing and Black Halo’s internationally renowned brand will be a great fit.”

Is it too late to start blogging?

Is it too late to start blogging? Recently, I have received several emails with similar question. I do not feel that its too late in the year at all to start blogging. In fact, you may benefit to start a blog during the busy Holiday, Traveling, Cooking and Shopping season than anyother time of the year.

Think about, there will be plenty of content offered via Press Release, Social Media, Advertisements, Discount Offers and loads of ideas. There might even be too much….

For starting a blog you can visit Moms Cash Blog for a tutorial.

Perhaps you like baking, cooking or would like to learn or pre-pare recipes of your favorite Chef etc…..  Check out the Movie Julie & Julia

If you like Martha Stewart or Crafts and Baking you can check out  Martha Moments - he takes his inspirations from Martha Stewart and also offers his own take on the world of crafts

If you like Music or anything Entertainment you might want to check out Killer Hip Hop – He too, started as a hobby as well and for the love of Hip Hop. He has excellent rankings and a large follwoing. Not to mention more of his post end up on the first page of Google.

These should help give you an idea. Remember it always begins with an IDEA  :)

I’m back……

Wow, its been month since my last post. A small update for my regular readers and blogging buds. I have been out due to the inhability to type / use my hands as much.

Due to the high amout of hours I was typing  on my laptop and PC, I suffered never damage on both my hands. This was the most incredible pain. Not able to pick up items, not able to hold or feel when they fell from my hands. Now, I am doing a lot better and only have minimal pain and still have numbness on a couple of my fingers.

What you should do to avoid this:
Limit the amount of houres spent on the keyboard
Take frequent breaks
Excersice
keep hydrated
and see your Doctor the moment something feels odd with your exptremities

I kept putting off the visit to the Doctor until one day, while driving, my hand went numb. So please take care of yourself.

Blogging was placed on hold, as my income really has come from selling online and not blogging. I have had help with two other blogs and money comes in steadly from them.

Have experienced growing pains with one blog and do I have a lot to share about those.

As for my e-Commerce stores, that was easier to mamange as I do have people helping me daily.  And I did not have to type or lift anything. Just had to overseee daily activity.

Just thought you might want to know ….. and to encourage you to take care of yourself, nerve damage is painfull……..

:)

Where to find Celebrity Picture Galleries for Free?

Where to find Celebrity Picture Galleries for Free? There are not many that offer you quality pictures with the A-OK to use them. I myself use PicApp Plug-in on my other sites for all Celebrity Gossip, Sports and events. Another perk is as of April of this year they now offer Revenue Share. So while you get to provide quality pictures on your site you can also make money. PicApp can be used as a plug-in or you can sign up for an account to get embedded code.  Visit their site HERE to download the plug-in or download directly from your plug-in section in your word press.

Make Money with Affiliate Accounts on website or blog

You want to sell online and you have several excuses why not to sell…. If finding product and money for inventory are not the reason then try Affiliate accounts.

I myself have an online affiliate store that offers the consumer a variety of beautiful home decor products that I do not have to ship. I got the inspiration from Gifts.com. I simply wanted to be able to have a site where I could offer my input and share deals I have found at other sites. Allowing me more freedom than the standard eBay and Amazon Affiliate network.

Visit Gifts.com you will see that they offer the consumer thousands of beautiful items with referral links.

To get started:
Look around other sites or blogs; note what you do like about them.
Consider eBay or Amazon to start (Amazon is great) – its easier to get approval for an affiliate account
If you have an existing site or blog try Commission Junction or Link Share for affiliates. I would recommend that you star with Commission Junction.

Commission Junction has hundreds of affiliates in many of the most popular categories.

I have accounts with both Commission Junction and Link Share and could get paid commission for sending referrals (such as you). The links I have placed on this and 95% of my post do not have affiliate or paid links. I want you to try them for the reason that I do make money using them outside this blog.

Leave a  comment and share your experiences with our readers. If you have a site that offers more information please feel free to leave a link with your comment that will take the reader directly to additional information.

How do I make money with my blog?

How do I make money with my blog?

There is a site that can help you get an idea on who you can contact to monetize your blog. Of course, Google Adsense is the first one most recommend. I would recommend that you check out your competition and/or other successful bloggers that you like and see or ask them what sources they would recommend.

Most bloggers are willing to share information. Luckily, there are many tools out-there you can use to find our what Advertisers are being used by bloggers.

Builtwith.com - just type the name of the blog and in a few seconds it will reveal vitals of the blog. Such Server Information, Analytics and Tracking, Advertising, Javascript Libraries, Widgets, Blog Publishing, Shopping Cart Integration, Frameworks, Aggregation Functionality, Document Information
XHTML Transitional, Encoding, Audio Video Media, Content Delivery Network.

Now, you will have a better idea of what Advertisers you want to target. I have tested this tool on all my blogs and the accuracy is about 90%.

Make Money Blogs or Vlogs Part 5

Make Money Blogs or Vlogs Part 5. Its been a while since I posted Part 4. In reality blogging, maintaining a webstore along with my two kids being schooled at home have me running around 24/7. I must say that due to the success that I have experienced with several of my blogs, I have decided that at this summer I will be placing my online store on hold. I will blog on my current webstore and perhaps link to other sellers while I dedicate to blogging only.

I am not one to get those YouTube videos of myself reviewing or commenting; I am usually up with icky hair or just look like I need rest; so no way. I do make videos to promote my items, however, my kids being kids not only blog but are having fun posting video reviews. My son likes it a lot more (he is the shy one)…..

Perhaps by now you are aware of the possibilities in revenue and where the exposure on YouTube can lead you. When you meet certain criteria YouTube will invite you to become a partner. Basically this means that you will make some really nice money if you are generating a lot of views.

Here is a video and report GMA did on Vlogging and the ridiculous (good) way even teens are generating money. Its not just money, its Free products for review, the ability to brand yourself and perhaps becoming a Celebrity (iJustine, Fred etc….)

Visit GMA for more details HERE

A new phenomenon called “haul videos” means they can show off their purchases to the whole world. There are more than 110,000 haul videos currently on YouTube, and some videos are racking up tens of millions of views.

Hauls are short product review videos. The “vlogger,” or video blogger, shows off her goods, gushing about everything from lip gloss to flip-flops and gives her opinion on the quality of the products.

Blogs that Make Money Part 4

Blogs that Make Money Part 4. Many of my Entrecard droppers already know this and its blogs about Food! That’s right, Food for all, from How to…to….Where to find…. I can cook to survive. That’s about it.

My kids asked me to write down the recipes and make videos for them of all the Mexican Food and Foods that I prepare for them.  So that got me thinking about a blog. A blog all about food that Mom cooks “My Moms’ Style”. The blog consist of my recipes with a few videos and added links on where to find the spices and how to grow your own Cilantro etc…. Seriously, you can save lots of money by growing your own, Cilantro, Tomato, Onion, Lemon Tree or Lime …well you get the idea. Most Mexican dishes have one if not all of the ingredients.

In order to bring in more content into the blog, I posted videos of other Moms’ and their Hispanic food recipes. During the Holidays my blog was on the first page of Google for Pozole, Enchiladas and Flan.

I continue to maintain the blog and post twice a week. Alexa Ranking is in the 500k. It does have a nice traffic stream and the money is not so bad. The average Adsense money has been $214.00 (Only AdSense in this blog for now). Now, I know that blogging about food can make a lot money, especially if you know how to cook. The page that received the most clicks was on Kitchen Tools.

Traffic: I use my Novelas (Soaps) blog (which is now bring in over 1 Million visitors a month) and YouTube.

Seriously, I am almost out of recipes! Ha…  :)   I will be trying new dishes for my kids, all my cooking is geared towards a healthier version of the Traditional recipe. I know that I have a lot to learn when it comes to cooking. Therefore, I will be blogging more about healthier and tasty alternatives to Traditional recipes.

BBQ season is almost here. Might be a great time to grab that camera and get yourself your own blog and YouTube and share your knowledge. Your own recipe to success may just be a bit of this and that and Adsense.

Note: From the several blogs that I have going I generate a decent amount of money. Ultimately, my goal is for each blog to make the thousands of dollars that it can make.

If you are looking for Mexican Food Products I highly recommend that you try MexGrocer.com

Blogs that Make Money Part 3

Blogs that Make Money Part 3 – Baby products, this blog I started to hand over to my Sister-in-law. She is expecting and as any first Mom has tons of questions and want to buy all Organic and Green products. So, I gathered the information form vendors offering Green Products ..such as furnishings and toys.. While I was putting this together, we started getting traffic. I am sure its all due to the search term “Baby Green”. Soon she added of her daily life being pregnant for the first time and all the unknows. She has build a good following and blogs several times a day.

This blog does not use EntreCard or any other source to bring in traffic. Its all done by content and the trends term “Green Products Baby”etc….

Money: Ads running are Amazon, Commission Junctions and AdSense. The money breakdown has been AdSense $186.00 avg. per month, and $312.00 from all affiliates.  This money will come in handy for those necessities for the baby.

Notes: Blogging about Baby products and her pregnancy as a first timer is both a learning experience for her and audience. Not only is she excited about her baby but also all that she is learning. Sharing this information can take her blog to both a larger audience with higher earnings. The possibilities are endless. If you are running a Parent theme blog it is always good idea to incorporate today’s Trends such a Green, Health and Technology.
