What books / authors would you recommend?
A New direction for whateverebay. The new name for my blog will be WhateverSuccess. Success is truly what goal you set and what you determine success to be. I have decided to make this a blog of various business topics….the end result for it to serve as a guide and base for any type of business you want to enter in.
Many of the emails I receive and even some of my friends are about them knowing that they can do something but NO IDEA what or where to start. As anyone that is successfully running a business would know…It does all begins with an “Idea”. Once you have that “Idea” you can start by creating a chart with goals and questions.
There are many sites out there that offer you access to a data base of sources for products anywhere from $29.00 a month or up to $5,000.00 for a membership. Whether you invest 29 0r 5k that is money no one would like to do without. Therefore, I am going to provide you with names or sources, trade information and all the tools that I have used to help me succeed selling online and helping others succeed.
Don’t forget ….it all starts with an “Idea” 
Hope that you all are having an awesone 2010. Finally, I am back to my favorite blog. Its my favorite of the several blogs that I have. The last four months have been filled with a potpourri of events. I have learned even more of selling, marketing and blogging online that I could had imagined I could absorb in such a short time.
Now, the time has come for me to share with you what I have learned and what I continue to find daily. Many of you already know that I believe in the what the “Law of Attraction” teaches us. Therefore, I will be sharing with you links and sites where you can find information that could be just what you need to help you jumpstart your sales, business or your everyday life.

Its has been busy around here. Highly recommend that you use eCrater to sell. Sales have been great. I have been extremely busy with my kids, projects, selling online and other blog sites. I have neglected a bit this blog; all for the good. I have made some great deals that will work out for my readers. So stay tune for those…… So with so much going on, I have been taking energy tonics, tea and vitamins just to keep up. So I thought about Vitamin C – Its sure does help pick up the mood. I am sadden only because I did not get to see him perform “Live”; however, I am overjoyed for him and for the gift that he shared with us all. Michael Jackson inspired millions of us and will continue to inspire us through his music for generations to come. There are many pieces and moves of his that bring back incredible vivid memories of my childhood. Many like my first dance, my first performance and how can I ever forget the Halloween my friends and I attended a school dance with costumes inspired by “Thriller”. What are you favorite memories? For those of you that have emailed wondering what I have been up to; well, let’s say I have been working behind the scenes for Whateverebay aka WhateverSuccess.

Many of you have asked me what do I sell online and how much money I make.
I sell all that I can. A variety of items, hardly ever anything used. Seriously, selling online I can sell anywhere from $5,000 – $40,000 a week. For any of you selling on eBay or your website, you certainly can understand how much you can make. Many power-sellers sell well over $40,000 a week.
At this time, I am sending my orders to my drop shippers and fill about 60% of my orders directly. I am working from home at this time. As I wanted to take a break. However, selling online is fun and I enjoy keeping busy. I expect to increase my sales efforts and income in the next 45 days.
The amount of sales I generate greatly vary. This is not due to the market, but greatly due to the effort I place on selling. When, I was partner with an online company, they offered all the staff support etc… needed to run a successful online business making over $250,000 in sales a month. Of course that is in the low end.
I sell a large variety of items. Anywhere from home furnishings to apparel. The biggest money making category for me is Home Furnishings followed by clothing, women accessories, home décor and toys etc… For each category I offer, I have a separate store set up. This helps me keep sane. Maintaining my books separate all under the same Corporation though. A plus of keeping the account separate is Feedback. In the event I have any issue with a customer for let’s say a $25.00 toy, my feedback will not be affected in the higher end products of home furnishings.
I deal directly with the manufactures 90% of the time. I have stated before, that I very selective and caution you to be selective on using a Drop Shippers. Many of my relationships with my vendors are over 5 years, therefore, I have a huge advantage over a new or smaller seller. They offer me terms, meaning my vendors can extend me anywhere from Net30 thru Net 90 days to pay any invoice.
Having terms with my vendors, allows me to push product, have extra inventory and reinvest some of that money. I once made the mistake to offer my Drop shipping account to a start up business and I ended up with the bill. I am very happy to help out, but lesson learned.
Many of my accounts have been opened through new relationships with start-up companies both sellers and direct import.
I highly recommend that you attend trade shows. Meet the Sales Representative; they are a great source for additional product and sources. They can truly help you getting you into the doors of the largest Toys Manufacturer or whatever industry you are in.

Update on what I have been up to.
The last two months I have been busy working on the new look for Next Year; for our e-Commerce stores and getting us registered in all the Social Networks. We have recently made changes in staff and in our Customer Service Department.
The market is steady, no huge spikes or declines for us. We offer various things we all have a passion for. Such as women’s accessories, stationery, home décor, furnishings, patio furniture, bedding and dinnerware, lighting, hardware amongst other things.
With such a variety keeping organized is vital. Having a well trained staff is as important. During this time we offer several training courses and encourage them to share with us where they like to visit online when off work. This helps us understand each other and our buyers.
I have also shared with you that I have two kids. They are full of energy and definitely know how to drain my energy. All is good…. I would not have it any other way. My son is blogging and loves it. I am sure he realizes that he is improving everyday his internet skills and MOST importantly Reading/Grammar. He has also taught me some valuable lessons. Who knew!
I have other blogs I am working on, none of them have anything to do with selling online. Getting ready for the Holidays and gifts. Before I forget, as I stated, I will be opening an eBay store and start from scratch.
I recently pulled out my journal of online Oops! I have stories of several eBay sellers from the rise to the fall and the after. This will be interesting and I cannot wait to share them with you. Whateverebay is going to have vlogs soon, more like Video Tutorials. A list of HTML codes and templates to use at any auction site. And lots more.
